We cherish this home. With nearly 125 years under its belt, this house is something to treasure.
We want you and yours to enjoy this home for your stay as if it was your own. We love the simplicity of waking up in the lovely Elk Rapids historic district and making our way around at our own pace.
A walk through town in the morning for breakfast and coffee at Harbor Cafe or a stroll through nearby Veterans Memorial Park beach, can really help to slow down whatever makes up your usual daily grind.

A great home for some time up north, or a family vacation. With the modern touch of wireless accessibility, you can also maintain your diligence on emails and business as needed, or sit back and watch your favorite streaming shows on a rainy day. Though the house has plenty of room for multiple families and guests, you may also enjoy a couple’s getaway or adult weekend to take a break from the kids. A touch of an ironic place we suppose - where you spend time with your family on one trip and then leave the kids at home on another.
While the charm of this house will certainly make you feel at home, the charm of Elk Rapids might make you want to stay longer. It is readily apparent just from sitting on the front porch. The Delaney House makes it very easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer, from boating, to the harbor in Elk Rapids, to the Veteran’s Memorial Beach, Elk Lake and Lake Michigan, to in town dining and weekly or annual events. We want you to have your own space to enjoy the lifestyle of the area for however long you are able to hang around.
